Manama is an island capital, small and humid, with a summer that lasts from May to October and a winter that is soft enough for terraces. Sea air reaches every district, from the towers of Bahrain Bay to the villas of Saar and the reclaimed neighbourhoods of Reef Island and Amwaj. Fabrics must resist humidity, dry fast and keep their colour behind glass that faces the water.
Projects include the offices of banks and financial firms in the Diplomatic Area and Seef, hotels and restaurants, apartments in the new waterfront districts, and family homes with a formal majlis. Because the causeway links Bahrain to the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, a Manama studio often works for clients on both sides of the water and specifies at a Gulf scale.
Fabric Library, Al Guthmi, Pierre Frey and Ultrafabrics are the four mills at launch. Memo samples from Dubai reach Manama by courier within days; European cuttings take longer. Studios confirm the final colour on a physical sample under the project's own light before any order.
WEAVRA searches these collections by measured colour, material, wear and use, keeps the fabrics that hold in one selection, and prints an A4 presentation under the WEAVRA name. Specifications come from the mill; the order and the price stay between the studio and the mill.
