Upholstery and curtain fabrics for interior projects in Muscat

Muscat is a coastal city held between the sea and the Hajar mountains, humid and hot in summer, mild and clear in winter. Building rules have kept it low and white, with arches, screens and courtyards rather than towers. Light bounces off pale walls, so interiors tend to softer, warmer palettes, and fabrics need light fastness, a dry hand in the humid months and a tolerance for the fine dust that comes down from the mountains.

Studios here work on private residences in Qurum, Shatti and Al Mouj, on hotels along the coast and in the interior, on government buildings and on the hospitality that follows the country's growing tourism. Curtains for tall arched windows, upholstery for majlis seating and dining rooms, and outdoor fabrics for shaded terraces are the recurring lines of a specification.

Fabric Library, Al Guthmi, Pierre Frey and Ultrafabrics are the four mills at launch. Cuttings from Dubai reach Muscat by road or courier within days; European mills take longer. A colour confirmed on a physical sample in the room is the last step before an order.

WEAVRA searches these collections by measured colour, material, wear and use, keeps the fabrics that hold in one selection, and prints an A4 presentation under the WEAVRA name. Specifications come from the mill; the order and the price stay between the studio and the mill.
