Upholstery and curtain fabrics for interior projects in Paris

Paris is temperate and often grey: mild summers, cool wet winters, and a soft northern light that flatters texture and deep colour. Haussmann apartments have tall windows, parquet floors and radiators under the sills, so curtains are long, lined and often interlined, and upholstery meets a heating season that dries the air for months.

The city is the historic home of fabric houses, with showrooms clustered around rue du Mail and the second arrondissement, and Pierre Frey among them. Projects range from apartments in the sixth, seventh and sixteenth arrondissements to palace hotels, restaurants, fashion offices and country houses within reach of the city. Studios specify with precision: composition, width, repeat and Martindale are read before the colour is discussed.

Fabric Library, Al Guthmi, Pierre Frey and Ultrafabrics are the four mills at launch. A cutting from a Paris showroom is a short walk or a day by post; samples from the Gulf mills travel by courier and take longer. Colour is confirmed on a physical sample in the apartment's own light before an order.

WEAVRA searches these collections by measured colour, material, wear and use, keeps the fabrics that hold in one selection, and prints an A4 presentation under the WEAVRA name. Specifications come from the mill; the order and the price stay between the studio and the mill.
